How is it different from transcribing by hand?

Can it handle Isan, Northern or Southern Thai?

Choose "Thai" as the spoken language. Regional speech is written in Thai script, and AI notes are written in standard Thai or in English.

Dialect accuracy has not been measured systematically. For research, listen back to every passage you plan to quote.

Can I use it with NVivo or ATLAS.ti?

Export the transcript as DOCX or TXT and import it like any text document. There is no direct integration with qualitative analysis software.

What does a 45-minute interview cost?

67.5 credits with a summary: 45 for the transcript and 22.5 for the summary. That is $10.13 pay-as-you-go. Skip the summary if you only need the transcript.

Will the AI invent quotes?

The summary is instructed to quote the transcript word for word with timestamps, but check every quote you use. Click the timestamp in the transcript to listen.

Does Scripta translate the transcript into English?

No. The transcript is always in the language that was spoken. The summary or minutes can be written in English, with quotes kept in the original language plus an English rendering.

What format should an interview transcript use?

Most research transcripts mark who is speaking and when, turn by turn, word for word. Scripta's export does exactly that: one line per turn with a timestamp and the speaker's name, as in the TXT sample above. Add your study's header (participant code, date, interviewer) at the top of the DOCX before coding.

Does it separate speakers in a focus group?

Yes, speakers are detected automatically. If a line is assigned to the wrong person, change its speaker in the editor.
