What do I get from a Thai recording?
Two things. A Thai transcript with speaker labels and timestamps, in the language that was spoken, and an English note written from it.

Is this a translation of the Thai audio?
No. The English note is a summary, not a line-by-line translation. Scripta does not translate transcripts, so if you need every sentence in English (for subtitles, evidence or publication), give the Thai transcript to a translator.
- In an English interview summary, notable quotes keep the Thai words as spoken, with an English rendering in brackets and the timestamp, so you can check each one against the audio.
- The note is an AI draft. Check names, numbers and dates against the Thai transcript before you send it.
- Subtitles (SRT/VTT) are in the spoken language too. Scripta cannot make English subtitles from Thai speech.

Set the note language to English before you start, or ask for an English rewrite of a note you already have.

What about mixed Thai and English, or regional Thai?
English words spoken inside Thai sentences stay in Latin script in the transcript. Isan, Northern and Southern Thai are written in Thai script; choose Thai rather than auto-detect for those speakers.
Accuracy for regional dialects has not been measured. Listen back to anything you plan to quote. More on this on the Thai–English transcription page.
What does it cost?
A 60-minute Thai meeting with English minutes uses 90 credits: 60 for the transcript and 30 for the minutes. That is $13.50 pay-as-you-go, or about $2.67 at the largest pack's per-credit price. The note language does not change the price.

Questions
Can I get the Thai transcript in romanised (Latin) script?
No. Thai speech is written in Thai script. Only English words spoken inside Thai sentences come out in Latin script.
Can I get English subtitles from a Thai video?
No. Subtitles are in the spoken language, and Scripta does not translate them.
Can I write the note in a language other than Thai or English?
Yes. The note language is chosen per note from the languages Scripta supports.
